The snow came… and the snow went❄️🔥
These days bring plus degrees, which means the snow has melted along the sled route – just as we expected.
Yet… this week has been full of happy guests and awesome dogsledding tours! A lovely quote from a happy mother on a dogsled the other day:
“It’s been a childhood dream to try dogsledding, and today it came true – not only for me, but for my whole family. We didn’t think we’d make it before going home – thank you from the bottom of our hearts.” 💙
The forecast promises more snow next week and steady minus degrees ahead! 🌨️

The spectacular snow and ice covered landscape of eastern Greenland is the setting for this short expedition from Kulusuk Island, around Apusiaajik Island, and to the islands north of Apusiaajik.
Carved by glaciers, the terrain is crowned with magnificent peaks, and deep fjords dotted with giant icebergs trapped in the pack ice.
Starting from Kulusuk, we travel across frozen seas and camp between towering mountains. Each day brings long, steady skiing, quiet Arctic light, and the simple rhythm of expedition life — finishing back in Kulusuk for a warm meal, a good story and optional dog-sledding.
