In East Greenland, winter light behaves differently.
Because of the low Arctic sun angle, golden hour can stretch far longer than in southern latitudes. Instead of a quick glow, the mountains stay illuminated for extended periods – especially on clear, cold days like this.
💡 Useful tip: In winter, plan outdoor activities around the limited daylight – but know that when the light hits, it lingers beautifully along mountain ridges and frozen fjords.
